Team Challenges & Festival Social

The festival experience begins on Friday 18 September from 17:00 – 20:00, when all participating teams come together for the official festival launch and Team Challenges event.

Teams will compete in a series of fun and engaging rugby skill challenges, with players earning points across a range of individual and team-based activities. Points accumulated on Friday evening will contribute to overall tournament rankings and will be used as a tie-breaker should teams finish level on points during Saturday's group stages.

Attendance is mandatory for all teams competing in the tournament, with a minimum of six registered squad members required to participate.

Festival experience includes:

• Food vendors, licensed bar, and live entertainment

• Beachside social atmosphere overlooking Long Beach and Gorey Castle

• Full event support including safety, medical cover, welfare, and security

• Player and spectator facilities, including seating, toilets and hydration station

• Photography, and media coverage

The evening is designed to combine competitive sport with a relaxed festival atmosphere, leading into Saturday’s tournament play.
